vignette update.

march has been a quiet month, so not much to update. i do definitely have a few posts i should make, especially regarding some new gadgets i've acquired, but those will come later.

in the meantime, here are some pictures i took on my phone, then updated with the very cool vignette app.

sanford sitting regally, and handsome coffee roasters! i'm in love with their coffee - took this at their new downtown location. i was very happy to see that one of the owners was actually my barista back at intelligentsia that i was obsessed with because of his tattoos. proof bakery by me serves their coffee and i go almost every morning at this point. i think my caffeine addiction is on its way back..

moustache baked goods in healdsburg.

while killing some time in healdsburg after our dry creek valley wine tour and before our dinner reservations at cyrus, we stumbled upon moustache baked goods.

i had a mini red velvet cupcake and a classy gibraltar - essentially a latte, but served in an old-school champagne glass. delish! james had one of their home made oreos and loved it. kind of wish this place was in LA - especially with how hipster it feels, should absolutely be in silverlake or venice.

stellar meal @ cyrus, healdsburg.

i am super behind on posting this, so i won't get into details. but we had dinner reservations at cyrus, a michelin two-star restaurant in healdsburg. the food and service were spectacular. we each did the eight-course tasting - some are set, some have two options - for those i got one and james got the other so we could try everything. my one issue was that there was just too much dessert. there are two dessert courses; one of which had two options.. so we already knew we were getting three desserts. but then because it was a special occasion, we got a surprise dessert. then there was a dessert cart. then mini doughnuts showed up with the check. they were all amazing, i just don't usually have that much sugar in one sitting so i was a bit overwhelmed.

other than that, everything was simply amazing. standouts for me were the lobster, and the sea bass, and the duck. and the donuts at the end! and the cheese.. oh who am i kidding, i loved all of it.
