ah, today will be my first thanksgiving in california in a few years. and the first one that i'm cooking all by my big-girl-self.. this should be interesting, and hopefully not disastrous. i did not grow up on traditional thanksgiving fare, and my mom's not a big fan of turkey, or stuffing, or cranberry sauce, or mashed potatoes, but i've planned out a good meal i think - i will post the full menu and photos afterwards.
