dinnered at suzanne goin and caroline styne's latest venture in brentwood : tavern. we didn't make reservations so just ate at the bar. the place is quaint but spacious and the food is excellent (as expected). we had a bottle of wine, as well as the roasted asparagus with polenta, fried egg and parmesan, the niman ranch beef burger, the pork burger and the steak tartare (the latter 3 are from their dinner menu). i'm excited to go back and try the entreés.
