florida is in the south, by the atlantic ocean.

a few snapshots of our amazingly fun trip to florida for matt's beach wedding.

first of all, two miles from the orlando airport is a cracker barrel. amazing. we stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner like the good southerners we are. and yes, i had the blueberry pancakes. SO GOOD.

on the drive from orlando to palm coast, there was a town called sanford! it made me miss the dog-child.

we stayed at the hammock beach resort. this is the front.

the view from the three-bedroom suite we stayed in the first two nights with a bunch of other wedding-goers/college friends of mine.

james and i at the wedding reception, we are staring at the dolphin tank.

this is me in the atlantic ocean. i love the beach, and the ocean! but i hate that the sun sets on the wrong side on this coast. really, its a pet peeve.

a bunch of guys i went to college with and their women. after a long (and gorgeous) day at the beach.

the crab cakes at one of the hammock beach resort restaurants were really delicious! arguably the best i've had.

the view from our lodge room balcony we stayed in the last night there. we stayed an extra night just to treat ourselves. we even ordered room service for breakfast and ate it on this balcony.

all in all, it was a great trip. i still prefer california to florida though - i may be biased..
