a palmcoast wedding - with dolphins!

we flew to orlando, florida then drove to palm coast on cinco de mayo weekend for the wedding of my good friend matt to this awesome girl lindsay. he's from hawaii and she's from florida, so they both have the ocean and warm weather in their blood - it was quite fitting that the cermony was held on the beach!

they had pretty colorful parasols (which were quite literally giant versions of the little umbrellas you get in fruity drinks) for everyone. groomsmen (left) and matt (right, and yes, i gave him shit for looking like a taiwanese pop star, as any good friend should).

 the ceremony was short and sweet - and lindsay's amazing dress was handmade. very cool.

the reception was at marineland, which is a dolphin sanctuary right off the beach. and yes, there were dolphins.

 

then, during the first dance, the trainers came out and had the dolphins do leaps behind them. it was rather amazing. and i mean, DOLPHINS! you can't go wrong with dolphins.

anyway, it was a great time. i know matt from our mutual college dance group, so it was a bit of a mini reunion for us and we all had a blast dancing and drinking the night away - with dolphins! (did i mention there were DOLPHINS?)
