ricky's fish tacos.

ricky's fish tacos serves out of a parking lot on virgil not too far from where i live. they serve ensenada-style fish and shrimp tacos thursday through sunday from noon-ish to four-ish, tweeting daily exactly what their hours are and what they are serving. they also do lobster on sundays, and while i was there, i heard you could order a combination shrimp/fish taco (though it was after i had already eaten, but i'll definitely have to give that a try next time).

i ordered both shrimp and fish; they are fried to order and absolutely out of this world. i typically don't like that much batter on my tacos, but these are perfection, and the meat (shrimp/fish) is awesome and fresh. the pico de gallo is great, and then you have three salsa options green (mild), brown (medium) and red (hot). at first i tried the green and brown, but james went straight for the red, and immediately said i should do the same. for me personally, the red is perfect. definitely the best fish taco i've had in a long, long time.
