an afternoon at sunset junction.

we spent a lazy sunday afternoon over at sunset junction, starting with the relatively new sunset junction coffee shop for brunch. it was 3pm when we got there.. so yes, it was a very lazy sunday.

james had their huevos rancheros and a side of tater tots. they were GOOD. i just had a simple scramble  (and stole of few of the tots).

we then checked out clementine floral works to check out some succulents, and then the cheese store of silverlake. we didn't buy any cheese, but i made out with some goods in the end. spanish canned seafood, let's be frank devil sauce and yuzu juice! i was quite happy with my finds.

and last but no least, we stopped into barkeeper, really just for fun, but they had coupes! they're old-timey champagne glasses, and i've kind of been keeping my eye out for them both in big home and kitchen stores as well as vintage/secondhand/antique shops we occassionally drop into, and no one had ones i wanted, but barkeeper has tons (well, two sizes - 4.5 and 5.5 oz)! i bought four of the 4.5 oz glasses. so happy!
