tile heaven in bakersfield.

james's parents wanted to look at tile while we were up there to visit them, and who are we to say no? i love tile, and bill ray tile in bakersfield is everything you could ever hope and dream for in a tile store. it's a total DIYer dream.

probably what i was most excited about was their HUGE selection of penny round tile - which i'm currently obsessed with. so many colors! including my current favorite shade of seafoam/mint green.

also very interesting was the "wood" tile, which is just ceramic tile that looks and feels like wood. james was particularly interested in this since you could actually have a rustic wood-paneled bathroom without having to worry about using real wood in that sort of wet environment.

they even have ridiculously decorated tile, every tool you would ever need, and lots and lots of grout colors!

i also really liked some of the natrual stone tile as well as some of the metal ones they had (like copper penny rounds! or stainless steel subway!)

anyway, random sort of post, but it was pretty awesome so i thought i'd share.
