auntie em's kitchen in eagle rock.

met a coworker from the south last week who swore by the biscuits and gravy at auntie em's kitchen in eagle rock, so of course we had to go try it. we'd been once before to buy cupcakes, but never for brunch.

below is the biscuits and gravy. the biscuit was the size of my full hand! and it got james's southern stamp of approval.

i had the fried egg sandwich - amazing and pesto-y! and their cheddar bacon grits, which they put a lot of white pepper or maybe cayenne in, so it was nice and spicy.

and of course, i ended with a little red velvet cupcake. yum! we will definitely be going back.
