shaanxi gourmet - this time with pictures!

i blogged about my love of shaanxi gourmet's awesome thick tsuh mien noodles back in december, but i don't venture to rosemead all that often, so it took me a few months to get back there. there were no pictures then, but there are now. this is the lamb noodle soup:

not only are they so wide and have the perfect amount of chew, or "Q" as we say in chinese, but they're also LONG. there is only one or two noodles in the serving bowl below.

the other dish my family loves is a spicy intestine and vegetable dish. i think it's off-menu, but i have no idea, i just let me parents order. (=
