james pre-ordered the new subaru brz a couple months ago, and we went to look at and test drive it at the dealership after work yesterday. after much thinking and discussions, and long story short, he ended up driving it home and is the very happy owner of this bad boy:

it's only been a few hours, but i can already tell how happy he is with the purchase. he's been driving a used automatic vw jetta for several years now (for as long as i've known him really), and this is just much more him, especially with how much of a car-lover/aficionado he is.
